His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Bridgeport News: Firearms Arrest Washington Avenue and Milne Street

#Bridgeport CT--On May 12, 2022 at approximately 9:00 pm members of The Bridgeport Police Department Narcotics and Vice Division were conducting motor vehicle enforcement in the Hollow section of Bridgeport.While traveling on Washington Avenue, Officers observed a gray Honda vehicle traveling eastbound on Washington Avenue with a tinted front windshield. A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Washington Avenue and Milne St. The operator, later identified as 29-year-old Amado Negron III of Stratford Connecticut, advised officers he had a firearm in the center console. The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) today announced that the Exit 33 Southbound off-ramp on Interstate 95 will be open to motorists at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022. This follows the opening of the I-95 Exit 33 Northbound on-ramp in November 2021. The Interchange 33 Project in Stratford made the area a full interchange, with on- and off-ramps accessible in both highway directions. “This project has been in the making for many years, and now with both new ramps open, access to a major shopping and economic area in Stratford is more convenient.
