Governor Ned Lamont and Commissioner James Rovella today announced that the governor is appointing Brenda Bergeron to serve as deputy commissioner of the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, overseeing the Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. #Trumbull CT--A Bridgeport man was arrested in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 9, andcharged for his involvement in a series of crimes that occurred on October 13, when heassaulted and robbed a female victim of her vehicle at gunpoint, and fled from officers toavoid his immediate capture. Jose Francisco Ramos, age 52, of 863 Colorado Avenuewas apprehended by US Marshals at his residence in Bridgeport, and was transported tothe Trumbull Police Department where he was charged for his involvement in numerouscrimes to include domestic violence. Attorney General William Tong urged Robinhood users to exercise additional caution following a data breach that exposed millions of customer names and email addresses. The online stock trading platform confirmed today that a hacker tricked a customer service representative over the phone into turning over access to Robinhood’s customer support systems. That information gave the hacker access to email addresses for five million people, and the full names of two million people.
