#Norwalk CT--On September 24, 2020 officers were called to Norwalk Hospital for a victim sufferingfrom a single gunshot wound. Detectives began investigating the incident and spoke to thevictim who admitted he was playing with a gun in his back yard and accidentallydischarged the gun, striking himself near his right shoulder. Police UPDATE: On Monday, October 26, 2020 at approximately 10:40am, officers responded to aWestport business on a report of a burglary. The victim reported that a piece of furniture hadbeen stolen from the business sometime between the prior evening and the time of the call.Entry into the business had apparently been gained through an unlocked door. Through areview of surveillance video, a suspect was developed; identified as Timothy Holmstrom.Detectives ultimately recovered the missing piece of furniture from Holmstrom, who alsoreportedly confessed to the commission of the burglary.
