His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Rotary Flies Flags to Honor Community Heroes

The Derby-Shelton Rotary Club invites the community to celebrate and honor the heroes in their lives by sponsoring a flag in their name at a heartfelt and inspiring event. Norwalk High School Coach Arrested for Sexual Assault

A Norwalk High School softball coach has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior and unwanted touching of students on school grounds. Cary Nadel, 70, of Wilton, turned himself in to police on May 9, 2025, and faces four counts of Sexual Assault in the Fourth Degree and one count of Risk of Injury to a Minor. Shelton Teen Arrested After Stolen Police Gear and Firearms Found Near Home

Shelton Man arrested for possession of stolen firearms On 05/06/2025 Shelton Police arrested 18-year-old Nicholas Cano of Shelton and charged him with multiple counts of theft of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, and violation of a protective order. Cano, who was already in custody on other charges, was held on an additional $600,000.00 bond. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on Coram Rd on 04/14/2025.
