Bridgeport News: Crash Sends 1 Car Into Home

Police UPDATE: BRIDGEPORT- On Monday December 6, 2021 at 2008hrs Bridgeport Police were patrolling the area of Park Avenue and Olive Street when they came upon a multiple vehicle MVA with one of the vehicles into a structure in the 1300th block of Park Ave. Officers immediately rendered aid to the operators of the vehicle as BFD and AMR were enroute to the scene. Both operators were transported to the hospital by AMR for their various non-life threatening injuries. Bridgeport Police Investigate 20th Homicide–ARREST MADE

Police UPDATE: Early this morning Miguel Rojas (DOB: 4/16/93 of Hallett St) surrendered to police to face charges in connection to Friday night’s homicide of Jalen Parilla. Rojas is charged with Murder, Use of a Firearm in an A,B,C Felony, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit, and Risk of Injury to a Child. His bond was set at $1,000,000. He will be arraigned this morning in court. #Bridgeport CT--Last night, at 9:20 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired at West Avenue and West Liberty Street. Bridgeport News: Homicide Arrest

#Bridgeport This evening, Bridgeport Police said in a release that "detectives arrested Jaquan Bryant, 32 of Waterbury for fatally shooting Raheem Lynch on November 6, 2021. The evidence uncovered during the investigation shows that Bryant was involved in a physical altercation with a patron at Mystique, a club located at 2458 Main Street, at closing time. Bryant left the club, and shortly thereafter drove past that same patron. Bryant allegedly fired six shots at the man, missing him and striking the victim, who was sitting in a nearby car. The victim was not involved in the altercation and was not the intended target. Bryant is charged with Murder and Criminal Possession of a Firearm. His bond is set at $2,500,000.

Bridgeport News: 30 Families Homeless After Fire

Video report: 2021-11-05@11:35am--#Bridgeport CT-- #ctfire-- At least 30 families are without a home after fire ripped through the 2nd and 3rd floor at the Eldorado Apartments at 1130 William Street. A roofing crew was working across the street when Manuel Morales relized what was going on and ran over with his ladder. He rescued a mother and two babies. When firefighters arrived they rescued an additional seven people hanging from the windows. Assistant Fire Chief Harold Clarke told us it took forty minutes to get the fire under control. Bridgeport News: 15 Year Old Shoots Man Waiting For Cousin To Come Home From School

On November 3rd, 2021 just after 4:00pm, the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls of a male shot at the intersection of Trumbull Ave and Reservoir Ave and Bridgeport Police were immediately dispatched to the scene. The 19 year old Victim was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital with life threatening injuries. The Bridgeport Police Fusion Center was quickly able to obtain a license plate for the responsible suspect vehicle which was discovered to be stolen out of Trumbull. Members of the regional Auto Theft Task Force were able to locate the vehicle and patrol officers attempted a motor vehicle stop. Bridgeport News: 7 Injured In Halloween Crash

Bridgeport Police released statement: At 1919hrs the Bridgeport ECC received multiple 911 calls regarding a multi-vehicle accident on North Avenue. Preliminary reports indicated a party hit multiple cars with one car crashing into a tree. BPD responded to the scene and confirmed a multiple MVA with a report of one of the vehicles just being reported stolen from a gas station moments before the accident. On-scene preliminary reports are indicating one party may have been under the influence. Extent of injuries appear to be non-life threatening at this time but do involve multiple parties with AMR treating the injured. The call originally called in for a person shot at Lexington and Harral Avenue but the victim was found at Center and Harral Avenue.  A crime scene was established at Lexington and Harral a block away.  Police tweeted that a person was shot in the arm on Center Street.

Bridgeport News: 2nd Arrest Made In Homicide

2021-10-25 #Bridgeport CT-- This afternoon, Kadeem Frazer (DOB: 10/19/93 of 789 William St) was arrested for his role in the October 2nd murder of Jonathan DaSilva. Allegedly, Robert Sorrells, who was arrested on October 21, fired the shots that killed the victim from the passenger’s seat of Frazer’s car, as Frazer drove. Later that day, Frazer reported his car, a 2017 Mercedes C300, stolen. The following day, just hours after being interviewed by homicide detectives, Frazer’s car was located in the town of Woodbridge, after it was set on fire.On October 21, Detective Winkler obtained an arrest warrant for Frazer, charging him with Accessory at Murder and Arson in the Second Degree.
