2020-06-19@12:26am–#Bridgeport CT– Last night, may of you messaged me wondering if it was shots fired on Maplewood Avenue in the 200 block. I couldn’t answer your because the press radios were turned off per the mayor. Later today the police said that a man called to report his girlfriend was hit and that he was driving her to the hospital. Police met them at St. Vincent’s hospital and determined that she sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder.

2020-06-19@12:30PMish–#Bridgeport CT– Police say a four-year-old child got stuck in a vehicle power window in the 2400 block of Fairfield Avenue. A bystander was able to break the glass freeing the child w. The child is in critical but stable condition and being transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital with the family. This was an accident, the child was playing with the window switch, we remind parents to please be cognizant of children in the vehicle.

2020-06-18@9:38pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating a crash on Water Street in front of the train station at the intersection of State Street. Witnesses told me the woman was being pursued and hit a parked car on State Street near Iranistan Avenue prior. The woman could not negotiate the left turn and crash. It took firefighters about twenty minutes to free her. Her injuries are not known at this time.
