2019-09-02 @ 5:39pm–#Bridgeport CT–#Stratford CT– State Police have one person, the passenger of a car wanted for shoplifting at BJ’s in Stratford at Capital and French Street in Bridgeport. The driver is still at large.
2019-09-02@2:30pm–#Bridgeport CT– A four year old child was seriously injured after a fall from a 3 story wind at the corner of Stratford and Hollister Avenue. First responders said the child was seriously injured but expect the child to be okay. Police are investigating.
2019-09-01 @11:54pm–#Trumbull/Bridgeport CT–An off duty Bridgeport police officer is reporting a rollover accident on Route 8 northbound near exit 8. He says there is a person trapped in the car. 5 people involved, including a 2 year old child Firefighters on the way.
Police UPDATE: Bridgeport Police identified the victim from this homicide as 41-year-old, Jose Perez-Oritz of 65 Maplewood Dr. Monroe, CT
2019-09-01 @ 6:22pm #Bridgeport CT– A man was shot and killed in front of the corner store at Noble and Shelton Street. Detectives are on the scene investigating. I believe this is the 13th homicide for 2019. 2018 saw 11 homicides and 2017 saw 23 homicides.
2019-09-01@2:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– #Trumbull Ct– How about some likes for Bridgeport Police for locating a non-verbal 6 year old autistic boy missing from Old Town Road? Bridgeport Police located the child on Clover Hill Avenue. Way to go!
2019-09-01@1:38am–Firefighters were called to 1643 East Main Street for a garage fire. The garage was fully engulfed when they arrived, there was some melting of the house’s vinyl siding. Police were also called for a fight at the corner bar. Both incidents were quickly taken care of.
2019-08-31 @ 7:54pm–#Bridgeport CT– There were three overdoses in two part of town that kept first responders busy. The first were two unresponsive males in the 300 block of Wilmont Avenue. They initially did not respond to Narcan and required advance life saving support. Eventually both were revived.
Another overdose took place when a woman called on Hanover Street that her boyfriend overdosed, she had administered Narcan but he did not respond to it. First responders did get him to respond.
Overdoses happen everyday but I stopped reporting them because of the frequency of them. It’s like reporting shots fired calls.
2019-08-31@6:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– A person attempted to buy a phone from someone on Offer Up. They met up in the 500 block of Englewood Avenue and the person took the money and ran.
