UPDATE: #Bridgeport CT-- Just after 12:30 Sunday morning a man was carjacked of his gray Lexus on North Avenue near Clinton Avenue. The man was taken to Colorado Avenue near Beechwood Avenue where he was released and then shot in the back. About a half hour later Fairfield Police located the vehicle on the I-95 northbound exit ramp 23 unattended. K-9 from Bridgeport, Fairfield and State Police began tracking the Fairfield neighborhood off Grasmere Avenue. Bridgeport, CT – In anticipation of the pending snow fall due to impact Bridgeport on Saturday, December 9, 2017, Mayor Joe Ganim today is updating residents on the forecast effects for Bridgeport. Forecast The City of Bridgeport anticipates a significant snow fall starting early Saturday morning and continuing through the day, which is projected to produce as much as six inches of snow. Bridgeport News: Cops Get More Guns / Drugs Off The Street
#Bridgeport CT-- On November 21, members of the Bridgeport Task Force arrested Rasaad Haynes and executed a search warrant upon his person and residence at 225 Golden Hill Street in apartment 5E. Seized was three illegal firearms (.23 revolver, .45 caliber 19911 Semi-automatic and a .45 HiPoint Semi-automatic. He was held on a 250,000 bond.

Bridgeport News: Gun Coop Busted
#Bridgeport CT-- Today Police made a bust of a “major stash house” where many criminals would store their illegal firearms, then come and use them when it came time to commit a crime. The stash house was located at 76 Fourth Stree and was near an elementary school which presented a special danger to the community and contributed to at least one recent shooting in that neighborhood. Taken into custody were two pounds of marijuana, packaging, scales, US currency and 6 illegal firearms. Four of the firearms were confirmed stolen. Arrested was Isiah Yarborough
