10:27pm–#Bridgeport CT–There is a one car crash into a fence at Boston Avenue and Bond Street.  Firefighters and EMS are on scene, firefighters are trying to cut away at the fence to free the driver.  No word on injuries.

5:58pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police have been dispatched to 34 Louisiana Avenue because the caller says there has been a drone flying in the neighborhood for hours and she feels “unsafe” according to radio reports.

5:15pm–#Bridgeport CT–Crashes continue to keep first responders busy.  This time a crash at Madison Avenue and Wayne Street.  There are injuries and a child involved according to radio reports.

10:28am–#Bridgeport CT–A woman in the 300 block of Union Avenue has called police to have a man removed from her couch.  You just can’t make this stuff up!

10:01am–#Bridgeport CT– A police officer on duty is breaking up a fight between two men on Capital Avenue and Lindley Street.  Additional officers on the way!

UPDATE: Red Cross called to relocate 2 adults and 1 child.

10:41am–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters quick response to a rubbish fire at 440 Hollister Avenue on the 3rd floor prevents it from getting out of control.

 

Editorial: Bridgeport has to look at cuts for the budget but please keep in mind the first responders are an investment to the citizens, property owners and business owners.  There has been no talk about cuts, please let’s keep it that way!
