3:14pm–#Bridgeport CT–Bridgeport Police are investigating an armed robbery at the A Must Try Louisiana Seafood located at 60 Wood Avenue. Police are looking for a Hispanic male who had a red scarf over his face wearing dark pants. He displayed a shotgun in the robbery.
1:40pm–#Fairfield CT–#Bridgeport CT– A woman was walking to her car, a Mitsubishi SUV that was parked at Planet Fitness at 111 Black Rock Turnpike. She saw it being driven away when she screamed it was being stolen. A person already in their vehicle in the parking lot began following the stolen SUV. The suspect possibly not knowing he was being followed went down Fairfield Avenue to Wordin Avenue and Stephen’s Lane when Bridgeport Police attempted to pull the vehicle over. The driver took off taking officers into PT Barnum Housing. The car turned into one of the drives when his car was blocked by a Bridgeport Police car near building 21 at Anthony Street. A foot pursuit ensued and police captured him near building 19. Yesterday, Fairfield Police tracked and recovered two stolen bicycles from suspect living at PT Barnum.
1:19am–#Bridgeport CT–Tonight’s car fire is at Carroll Avenue. Firefighters just arriving on scene, it was first believed to be a brush fire off exit 30 on I-95.

11:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– Despite having a walking detail in place at Trumbull Gardens a man was shot at 440 Trumbull Avenue, Trumbull Gardens. In fact it was the detail’s sergeant who radioed in the call of the shooting. Police told me the man was shot in the chest. A large, upset crowd gathered and police called in all available officers as well as mutual aid from Trumbull. EMS took the man to St. Vincent’s Hospital, his condition is unknown at this time. A gun was recovered, no word on any suspects.
