Bridgeport News: Police Investigate Two Separate Shootings on July 29th

Bridgeport, CT – On Monday, July 29th, 2024, Bridgeport Police responded to two separate shooting incidents that resulted in two individuals being hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Both victims are currently in stable condition. Incident 1: High Ridge Drive At 6:47 PM, Bridgeport Police were notified of a gunshot wound victim who arrived at St. Vincent's Hospital in a personal vehicle. The victim, a male in his early 20s, sustained a single gunshot wound to his right thigh. The Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau has initiated a criminal investigation. Preliminary information suggests the shooting occurred around 6:40 PM in the area of the 300 block of High Ridge Drive. Bridgeport News: BOLO (be on the look out) Robbery suspects

On 06/23/24, at approximately 9:00PM, the patrol division responded to a reported robbery near 957 East Main Street.The victim was located and discovered to have been seriously injured and had his vehicle taken following the assault.Video obtained from the scene determined that the pictured male (left) and female (right) are suspects in this investigation.If anyone can identify either party or has information on their whereabouts, please get in touch with the case investigator, Detective A. A tractor-trailer exiting the DMV access road attempted to turn right onto Colonial Avenue but got caught on low-hanging wires, bringing down a utility pole.
