7:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Pioneira Brazilian Steak House at 60 Hurd Street calling police on the attempted UI Scam. They did NOT fall for the scam to wire money to pay the bill. UI will not ask you to wire them money ever. Police are investigating.
3:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--A thirteen year old child attempted to jump from a window at Tisdale School on Hollister Avenue and then fled. School Resource Police have just apprehended the child and seeking medical attention for the child.

(Bridgeport, CT, April 22, 2014) – A city man was arrested Monday after he offered to sell crack cocaine to undercover officers. The arrest happened after narcotics officers developed information about drug activity in a specific area of Washington Avenue. Officer Miguel Perez and Sgt. John Evans worked undercover and parked in the area of Washington Terrace. After a short time, a suspect approached the passenger-side window and offered to sell them “Trees”, “Base” and “Dope.” That is street terminology for marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin. The undercover officers stated that they were awaiting a crack cocaine delivery from their own dealer, who they said told them to meet him at that location.
