Fairfield News: House Break In

#Fairfield CT-- Police said last night on Hemlock Hills North, between 6:20pm and 8:30pm last night a homeowner returned home to find that her family room back door was wide open and a ladder was against the house next to a second floor window screen that was cut. On scene investigation found that entry was made through a second floor bonus room window screen that was cut to get in. Several rooms were entered, drawers left open, and items were taken from the house. The Detective Bureau collected some items of evidence which which they are processing. There are several leads that we are working at this time. Our hope is that one of them will cultivate into a suspect.…

Fairfield News: Man Fights And Injures 3 Manhunt Under Way

In a story we were first to report to you Friday night on June 16th, : #Fairfield CT--  Emergency Communications Center  received a report of a male, later identified as Chris Pecora hitting people, yelling and screaming in the middle of the street. Pecora was then reported to be running from the area of Silliman St and Jennings Rd, possibly to his house on Rokoczy Ave. Christopher Pecora (DOB 1/7/96), 144 Rakoczy Ave, was arrested and charged with four counts of Assault in the 3rd Degree (53a-61) and one count of Breach of Peace in the 2nd Degree (53a-181) and was released on a $5,000.00 bond to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court, 172 Golden Hill St. on 6/19/17 at 0930 hours. 10:44pm--#Fairfield CT--…

I-95 Crash

Fairfield Fire Department UPDATE: FAIRFIELD, CT, 6/17/2017: On Friday June 16, 2017 at approximately 10:14 PM, the Fairfield Fire Department received a report of motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a commercial truck and several vehicles on I95 South between exit 19 and Exit 18. Additional information received during response indicated at least one person was trapped under a vehicle. When fire units arrived scene, they reported a multi vehicle accident with one occupant trapped under a AAA tow truck and another requiring extrication from a commercial truck. Fire crews from Fairfield and Westport immediately secured the scene and began the process of gaining access to and removing the two trapped occupants from in and under the vehicles. The condition…
