The caller thought the puppies were dumped off but police located the puppies human who said they escaped from and open door.

Fairfield News: Fatal Crash
State Police Update: At approximately 10:38pm on Saturday, December 23, 2023, the Connecticut State Police responded to a reported single-car motor vehicle collision on Route 15 South, prior to exit 42. Upon arrival, troopers found a white 2016 Toyota Corolla with Connecticut registration #BK35022 stopped in the middle of two travel lanes. Additionally, a white 2021 Infiniti Q50, bearing Connecticut registration #845ZWN, was in the right shoulder with its front end against the wood beam guardrail. Preliminary investigation revealed that the Toyota, traveling southbound, collided with the concrete barrier in the median, leading it to an uncontrolled final rest in the left lane.
