There was a 2 car accident at the corner of Jewitt Ave and Main St. That is blocking traffic at the stop light by Subway on Jewitt Ave.
I-95 Accident
12:19pm--#Stratford CT #cttraffic--Accident on I-95 northbound between exits 30 and 31. It appears to be in the left and right shoulders. Firefighters called to pop a door to extricate one person. Injuries reported but the appear to be minor.

Hit Pedestrian Passes
#Bridgeport CT--Thomas M. Jacob, 51, of Bridgeport who wasstruck near the corner of State Street near Park Avenue has died of his injures. At this time, no charges have been filed against the operator of the vehicle that struck Jacob. The driver, identified as Milton Dickens, 50, of Bridgeport, immediately pulled over and was cooperative with investigators. The investigation is continuing by the Traffic Division. Police Arrested Suspect in June Homicide
(Bridgeport, CT – June 26, 2013) – A man suspected in a June 9 homicide in the P.T. Barnum housing complex was arrested Tuesday evening and charged with murder. Bridgeport Sgt. Jason Amato, who is assigned to the State Police Gang Unit, received information that Dean Burdell, 33, was observed walking into an apartment in Building 10 in the housing complex. Burdell was being sought on various narcotics charges and also wanted for questioning in a recent killing of Marquis Jacobs, 36, of Bridgeport. He was found suffering from a gunshot wound near Building 11 in the complex earlier this month. Upon notifying Sgt.
