Connecticut State Police Thanksgiving Holiday Enforcement

The Connecticut State Police  throughout the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.  The operation began at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, 11/25/2015, and will conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 11/29/2015.  Troopers patrolled roads and highways across Connecticut, focusing on drunken driving violations and These State Police stats cover the time period starting at midnight on 11/25/15 to 11/29/15 11:59 p.m. 2015-- SPEEDING Arrests: 1,204 SEATBELT Violations:432   DUI Arrests: 46 Hazardous Moving Violations Arrests: 3,160 (to include unsafe lane change, following too closely, cell phone usage, texting, failure to signal, etc.)   2014-- ACCIDENTS Investigated: 513    ACCIDENTS with injury: 59   FATALITIES: 1 2014 STATS 11/25/14-11/30/14: Speeding: 1,106   Seatbelt violations: 314    DUI Arrests: 52 Hazardous Moving Violations: 3,538 Accidents investigated: 934   with injury 97   Fatal 1 (State Police Press Release) This…

Eastern parts of the state are seeing some light rain tonight while western parts had a beautiful sunset!   Looking at the week ahead we start off chilly but plenty of sun each day!
