1:34am--#Bridgeport CT--#Fairfield CT--#BlackRock--Both firefighters and police from both Fairfield and Bridgeport are searching for a person possibly in the water behind Chubby's at 3488 Fairfield Avenue on the Fairfield/Bridgeport line. Witnesses said two men went to the back of the pub to fight and only one came out and they feared one of them fell back into Ash Creek. Firefighters are using thermal cameras and are operating in a small boat but so far have found nothing.

Bridgeport News: Ganim Asks For State Police Help From Governor

#Bridgeport CT---Video Report: Today, mayoral hopeful Joe Ganim has written a letter asking Governor Dannel Malloy for help in providing state police officers to supplement city police officers following an increase in gun violence. Ganim is concerned that the city of Bridgeport Police's staffing level is at a low while it will take another eighteen months to bring staffing levels back up to full force.

#MILFORD, CT – The Devon Rotary Club held its annual Scholarship Awards breakfast on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at The Bridge House Restaurant. Fifteen (15) exceptional Milford students received the awards. 13 Scholarships are awarded by the Devon Rotary Trust Foundation each year totaling over $20,000. They are given to students in recognition of academic interest and achievement, and also for their service to their school or the community at large. The winners are selected by a committee of members from the Devon Rotary Foundation. Mark McCormack and Mark Weston received the Excello Tools of the Trade Awards Scholarship.
