Saturday was the grand opening of the Computer Doctor at 1134 Post Road across from Cumberland Farms. Owner Patrick Demaille says the Computer Doctor will do complete diagnostics on all PCs and Macs right down to the circuit level if need be. That feature is not available elsewhere. Did you break you cellphone screen? The doctor specializes in this! The biggest call for their service continue to be virus removal. I was in #Bridgeport covering a story on Railroad Avenue near Park Avenue when I noticed the little strip mall next to Julio’s Famous was open. I met with Mike from Isaac’s Tires, the same Isaac’s Tires at 178 Wood Avenue. Mike is a big fan of of DoingItLocal and he is looking in to advertising with us. They have new and used tires. The new store at 566 Park Avenue has been open for just a couple of days. I sure you will agree that they would make a great new addition to our site. If you want to save the most time doing the laundry have them do it for you. They offer a wash/dry/fold service. Heck I don’t mind the wash and dry but oh man the folding. Let them do it for you! If you opt to do it yourself the have free wi-fi to let the time fly.

It was great meeting Gregg and Kyle Miller from Miller Nissan. They are thinking outside the box as they said and looking to advertise with us! I can personally vouch for the credibility of the dealership when a couple years ago my 90 year old father in law wanted to purchase a new car. Another dealership tried to do a bait and switch on him and I said let’s try Miller. I didn’t tell them who I was and they treated him with great respect, even thanking him for serving in WWII. The paid attention to every detail to the sale including adding WICC to the preset on his radio!
