#Trumbull CT-- A local woman is credited with saving the life of a child on Thursday night, June 9th,after she pulled the girl from the community swimming pool at the Ten Apartments, 100Oakview Drive, Trumbull. The victim, a five-year-old Trumbull girl, was foundunresponsive in the water at about 6:00 p.m., and was pulled out of the water. Abystander at the pool saw what was occurring, immediately stepped in to help, andbegan doing CPR and rescue breathing on the girl. A short time later, the girl coughedup water and regained consciousness. #Trumbull CT-- Three (3) Bridgeport teenagers were captured Thursday afternoon after robbing a local woman and stealing her car at the Westfield Trumbull Shopping Mall parking lot. At about 2:45 p.m., a fifty-nine (59) year-old woman was loading her car in the mall parking lot when she was surrounded by three (3) young males who demanded her car keys. The woman was pushed from behind and her purse was snatched from her hands, along with her keys. The juveniles entered her vehicle and sped off towards Main Street before police arrived. #Trumbull CT-- #Bridgeport CT-- Shortly after 7pm Trumbull Police were notified of a robbery and gunshot at the Zales Store in the Westfield Mall on Main Street. A lone male entered the store brandishing a handgun which he used to shatter glass display case. While doing this, the gun apparently discharged one bullet. The man grabbed several gold chains and fled on foot. No one was injured in the incident. Officers spotted the fleeing car at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Anton Street in Bridgeport where he crashed. The driver was believed to still have the firearm used in the robbery with him.
