#Trumbull CT-- #Bridgeport CT--In a story I was first to tell you about, On Sunday, May 10th, at about 2:00 p.m., a man recklessly driving a stolen vehicle struck and damaged several cars in Bridgeport, causing injuries, and then fled prior to being apprehended by police on Route 25 in Trumbull. Daniel Baker, age 37, of Bunker Ave., Meriden, was arrested when officers forced his car to a stop to prevent further damage and injury. Trumbull Police were advised that the suspect vehicle, a blue 2005 Honda Civic, had struck several vehicles in Bridgeport and was last seen traveling northbound on Main Street into Trumbull. 1 In Custody With Stolen Vehicle
2020-05-10@2:00pm--#Bridgeport CT-- #Trumbull CT--#cttraffic-- Trumbull police have one in custody on Route 8 southbound near exit 9. The suspect allegedly stole a car from East Main and Burroughs Street. The owner of the car chased the stolen car but lost it near upper Main Street in Bridgeport. Another good samaritan picked up the chase. The suspect hit a parked car but continued to flee. Trumbull Police located and apprehended the suspect on Route 8. Radio report said that one person was ejected from their car killing the person. 3 other people were injured but refused on-scene medical care. The highway southbound is expect to be closed for at least two hours for the crash investigation.
