Westport News: Funny Money Recovered During Police Stop
On Tuesday night November 3rd, 2015 A Westport officer on routine patrol on South Compo Road located a vehicle parked partially in the road with it lights off. The officer approached the vehicle and located two people in the car. While speaking with the vehicle occupants the officer suspected that there may be narcotics in the vehicle and requested a Police Service Dog. A Norwalk Police Officer and his Police Service Dog arrived on scene. The Police Service Dog gave a positive indication for the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed one heroin packet and drug paraphernalia. Additionally a search incidental to her arrest, police located two fake $20 bills.
