#Bridgeport, Conn. (Dec. 22, 2014) – Detectives are investigating an apparent double shooting that occurred this morning at about 10 a.m. Police responded to a report of gunshots on Highland Avenue. Responding officers located one gunshot victim, who was wounded in the lower abdomen. He was placed in a squad car and transported to Saint Vincent’s Medical Center. He has been identified as Russell Gillchrist, 17, of Bridgeport. A short time later, a second gunshot victim was taken by private vehicle to Bridgeport Hospital.
