Fairfield News: Heart attack on the Roof

Just before 2am Monday morning, a call came in to the Bridgeport Fire Department for a structure fire at 245 Dixon Street. Firefighters on arrival found heavy smoke on the left side of the home. When the call came in to the fire department it was thought that the fire was started by someone that was still on scene. Police were immediately dispatched. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire that was on the first floor. They thoroughly checked to make sure the fire did not extend anywhere else to the home. The fire marshal was called to the scene. There were no reported injuries fighting blaze.
10:48pm--#Bridgeport CT-Firefighters on scene at 1215 North Avenue for what was a reported structure fire with people trapped on the third floor. It turns out the be an appliance fire on the third floor and the appliance was thrown out the window ending the situation.

10:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--A 12 year old boy stole two bicycles from a garage on Newfield Avenue . He returned to steal the lawnmower and was last seen driving the bicycle driving pulling the lawnmower behind him. UPDATE: Police just located him, apparently he went back for the gas can.
8:58pm--#Norwalk CT-- Report of a person shot on Country Club Road. No details. EMS directed to stage, the scene is not safe for them to enter at this time. 10:52am--#Fairfield CT--Police are being dispatched to the graduation at Fairfield University for an unknown problem at the graduation called in by EMS. The radios have gone quiet on this one, I'll try and get a report later today. 1:30am--#cttraffic--Shelton Police are in pursuit on Route 8 southbound, they just passed exit 10 and then broke off the pursuit.
10:56pm--#Bridgeport CT--Just before 11pm Saturday night firefighters responded to a call of fire at an abandoned house at 1801 Central Avenue. When they arrived they found heavy fire at the roof line and were concerned about the flames extending to the building to the left of it. Firefighters quickly got control of the fire, I was there within ten minutes of the call and all visible flames were out on my arrival. There was concern about a homeless man living in the attic but primary and secondary searches of the home found no one in the building. The fire marshal is on the scene investigating.
