Bridgeport News: Fire destroys home
6:21am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters battled a 3 alarm fire at 520 Wayne Street this morning. Firefighters found the back and right side fully engulfed in flames on arrival. Firefighters immediately located all occupants, there were reports of a partial roof collapse into the second floor. There were no reported injuries. Special thanks to Garth Trotto in compiling this report. I hope they call Nutmeg Insurance Adjusters.........you don't think the insurance company is going to willingly pay for everything damaged do you?

12:40am--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters on the way to 261 Healy Avenue , building 16 for multiple 911 calls for smoke in the building . Unknown if it is the 2nd or 3rd floor. UPDATE--Food burning on a stove, no fire. Firefighters assisting in ventilating the building.
Bridgeport News: Manhunt after assault
12:20am--#Bridgeport CT--Police looking for a person wanted in a red Northface jacket for assault on Stratfield Avenue leads police on foot pursuit onto 6th Avenue towards Connecticut Avenue. The suspect ran into backyards and police are looking for him in the area.
