Bridgeport News: Homicide #12 Arrest Made
#Bridgeport CT--This morning, Detective Hanson arrested a 16-year-old juvenile for the August 28, 2021 homicide of Jamel Hayden. After several weeks of hard work, Hanson, the lead investigator assigned to the case, obtained an arrest warrant for the juvenile charging him with Murder, Felony Murder, Criminal Attempt at Robbery in the First Degree, and Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit. He is being held on a $3,000,000 bond. The facts of the case indicate that the juvenile and his accomplice attempted the rob the victim of $250 worth of marijuana. HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today announced that more than 50 million pages of state government documents have been digitized through a public-private partnership with Scan-Optics, a data management company based in Manchester, as part of an ongoing initiative to modernize services and produce efficiencies within state government. Police located and detained the suspect, David Young of Bridgeport in the rear of the building. He was observed allegedly stealing items from this location and there is video footage of him doing so. Norwalk News: Faulty Equipment May Have Caused Crash
#Norwalk CT-- On September 15, 2021 at approximately 9:49 a.m., officers responded to the area of Linden Street on the reports of a vehicle striking a pole. FD and EMS were called to the scene as well, as the vehicle sustained heavy damage and was inoperable. The three occupants were complaining of significant pain, but did not appear to have life threatening injury. They were sent to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation, via ambulance. The cause of the accident appears to be faulty equipment causing vehicle malfunction. No charges were filed. The struck pole was attended to by Eversource. This news report is made possible by:
