Monroe Fire Open House
Open House for the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department will be Sunday October 6th from 12pm noon until 3pm. This is a really fun event for kids of all ages including the husbands!

2:04am--#Newtown CT--Newtown Convenience Store on Church Hill Road was broken into by two males. 25-30 cartons of cigarettes were taken. At $7 a pack that is quite the haul. They fled in a white sedan.

Trumbull Crash
11:04pm--#Trumbull CT--A car has crashed into a utility pole at Edison and Lillian Road. First responders on the way.
Street Robbery
9:44pm--#Bridgeport CT--A strong armed robbery occurred at Fairfield Avenue and Whittier Street. Taken was a T-Mobile Cellphone by two males and a woman who fled in in a silver car. The woman is known and an arrest should be soon.
Bridgeport fire leaves 3 homeless
7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Red Cross is helping 3 adults find housing after fire guts their home at 249 Merritt Street.
Pedestrian hit in Norwalk
7:02pm--#Norwalk CT--A pedestrian was hit by a car on Lowe Street. No word on the extent of injuries.

2:11am---#Fairfield CT-- A malicious pulled fire alarm sends firefighters to Fairfield University.
Kitchen Fire
11:11pm--#Stratford CT--Wake up Lordship! Report of a pan of oil on fire on the stove at 46 Ketcham Road. Firefighters on scene reporting light smoke showing from the right side of the house. UPDATE--Fire is out but there is a smoke condition in the home.
