Report of a home invasion at the 100 block of Catherine Street by two males and one females, one of the males is armed with a gun. The homeowner locked herself into the bathroom at this time. Police are on the way.

(Bridgeport, CT – June 18, 2013) – A city police officer was injured while assisting a suicidal woman Monday. Officers Jeffrey Franco and Jose Paz were sent to a house in the 600 block of Arctic Street on a report of a suicidal person at about 5:15 a.m. Franco was the first to arrived and found the woman standing on a ledge about 15 feet off the ground. He attempted to calm the woman and talk her off the ledge but she was uncooperative and jumped. She landed on Franco, who suffered an injury to his knee. The woman suffered an ankle injury. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
6:18pm--#Bridgeport CT--A city bus driver has called police that they have a woman on the bus groping people. The bus is currently at Huntington Ave. and Nobel Avenue. Police on the way.
