#Norwalk CT--Municipal Employee Arrested On Thursday, February 25, 2021, William Howard, age 70, of 29 Bonnybrook Rd Norwalk, CT turned himself in to the Norwalk Police Department on an arrest warrant, charging him with 32 counts of Forgery in the Second Degree. The arrest warrant was the result of a three month long investigation conducted by the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau at the request of the City of Norwalk’s Recreation and Parks Department, regarding submitted vendor bids. William Howard was a seasonal employee with the City of Norwalk with no access to City accounts or funds. Derby Man Shot In Bridgeport
2021-02-25@ 7:32pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Bridgeport Police Press Release: Bridgeport Police responded to the report of a party shot at 300 North Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Auto Zone parts store. Patrol Officers located a 27-year-old Derby CT man who had been shot multiple times in the arm and abdomen. Patrol Officers facilitated the victims transport to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. As of 10:00 pm the crime scene at 300 North Avenue has been cleared and the streets have been opened to the normal flow of traffic. The Bridgeport Detective Bureau is investigating the incident. ATTORNEY GENERAL TONG FILES LETTER IN SUPPORT OF EXTENDING MORATORIUM ON UTILITY SHUT OFFS
Hartford, CT— Attorney General William Tong today filed a letter in support of extending the moratorium on utility shut offs. “We are not yet out of the woods with COVID-19, and many Connecticut families are still relying on essential utilities for hygiene, cooking, cleaning and climate control to work, study and school their children from home,” Attorney General Tong said. “Ending the moratorium on utility shut offs now would have devastating consequences for people across Connecticut who are just trying to get by during this pandemic and the worst financial crisis in recent times. We oppose the efforts to prematurely resume these shut offs and urge PURA to reject this plan.”

Bridgeport News: Prisoner Refuses Treatment
2021-02-21@11:06pm-- Sunday night, multiple officers on patrol along with EMS responded to 300 Congress Street for a prisoner who had cuts to his hands and feet. Police said the same prisoner refused to be handcuffed complaining of wrist pain, again he refused treatment. The person was eventually transferred to Golden Hil Court.
