5:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A young teen was found on a porch in the 200 block of Wells Street with gunshot powder burns to his hands.  The teen is no talking not only on how it happened but would even give his name to first responders.  He was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.

Stratford News: Stolen Vehicle/Larceny Arrest

On 09-24-2018 at approximately 1am Officers responded to the area of Cutspring Road and Cheshire Street to investigate a report of several suspicious persons. The group was spotted by an off duty Stratford Officers. The group was located and the investigation determined that they had been walking the streets going through unlocked cars and stealing items such as change and pocket books that were left in the unlocked/unattended cars. The group was also found to be in possession of two (2) stolen cars from Waterbury.   The adult in the group was identified as Edward James Parmlee 3 rd , age 18 from Waterbury. #Bridgeport News: Bridgeport Police are looking for two suspects responsible for a home invasion that took place on the Eastside of Bridgeport on 09/13/18 at 165/167 Barnum Ave.   The suspects assaulted the female victim but they were scared off when the victim yelled out for help and one of her children was heard coming down the stairs. The suspects did not take anything from the house. Operation Fuel partners with local government and community-based organizations at more than 100 sites throughout Connecticut to ensure that families in need have access to year-round energy assistance. The application process is already in progress and runs through Wednesday, October 31, 2018 or when the funding runs out. One-time grants of up to $500 per household for deliverable fuel, gas and electric utilities are available to qualified individuals. To qualify for electric utility, clients must have a shut-off notice, have no utility service, must need assistance to maintain a payment arrangement or have a past due balance of 30 days or more.
