Bridgeport News: Arrest Made In Bretton Street Homicide
On March 18, 2017, Gregory Francilme was shot and killed at the rear of 201 Bretton Street. A second male victim was also shot in this incident and survived. Homicide detectives were able to quickly develop leads in this case, and with the assistance of the Waterbury Police Department, the perpetrator was taken into custody on the same night the incident occurred. Detectives interviewed Tikhari Morton (11/24/97) and he admitted to shooting both males. Tikhari was held in Waterbury for crimes he committed in that city, and Bridgeport Detectives submitted a warrant for the arrest of Morton. 7:07pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Krausers at 1020 Fairfield Avenue (not Black Rock). A heavy set black male with what appeared to be shaving cream on his face robbed the store using a knife.
Stratford News: 2 People Fall On Railroad Tracks
UPDATE: Additional reports say it was a temporary walkway that gave way. 12:56pm--#Stratford CT-- EMS and firefighters dispatched to the southside tracks at the train station for two people who fell on the tracks. Westport News: Westport Gun Owner Charged
On 03/08/2017 at approximately 8:00am, Westport Detectives responded to Norwalk Hospital on report of a Westport resident who was being treated for a gunshot wound to the left thigh. It was reported that the incident happened at approximately 6:00am that morning on Oak Street, Westport. The patient was Dominic Demace, who claimed to have accidentally shot himself in the leg while cleaning a gun. Detectives served a Search Warrant on the home to further investigate the incident. A warrant was submitted to Norwalk Court for the arrest of Demace. Since a juvenile was in the house on the date and time of this incident, the additional charge of Risk of Injury was added. Bridgeport News: Foot Pursuit After Car Pursuit
UPDATE: Fairfield Police Department sent K-9 Maverick. The third person was hiding in a porch on Pequonnick Street and he refused to come out. Maverick got his first bite out of crime and the suspect after numerous alerts they were going to sent the dog in. The man had on his possession a firearm with an "extended mag" according to police. 11:50am--#Bridgeport CT-- There is a foot pursuit on Park and North Avenue after a brief car pursuit.
