On Saturday December 3, 2016, the Norwalk Department of Police Service held a DUI Checkpoint along the West Avenue corridor. Six Norwalk Police Officers and two Wilton Police Officers worked the checkpoint. Bridgeport News: Man Shot

Bridgeport Police Update:   Today at 1602 hours, a shooting incident occurred in front of 312 Brooks Street. A male victim, 26, was struck at least once by gunfire and sustained a wound to the back, that exited through the chest. The victim fell to the ground after being shot, and sustained a facial injury as a result of striking the pavement. The Detective Bureau Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene. The victim is in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital. 4:11pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--A man was shot in the 300 block of Brooks Street according to radio reports.   This man was made possible by:
