Bridgeport News: Pedestrian Killed By Hit And Run Driver

Bridgeport Police’s Serious Crash Investigation Team was dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash that occurred at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Pequonnock Street.  It occurred on  Wednesday evening , 5:44 PM,  on December 07, 2016.   Ismael A. Colon, 19, of Bridgeport walked across Washington Avenue when he was struck by a gray or silver SUV.  The SUV did not stop and fled north on Washington Avenue towards Coleman Street.  Mr. Colon, pedestrian, suffered head and brain trauma.  He passed away at Saint Vincent’s Hospital.  Mr. Colon’s family was notified.   The Serious Crash Team Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to call (203) 576-TIPS or (203) 576-8477.  All information will remain confidential.

Norwalk News: Bank Robber

On December 6, 2016, at 2:08 p.m., an individual entered the First County Bank at 660 Main Avenue and with a deep voice, told the teller to “give me all the money in your drawer”. The suspect was wearing the ghost facemask, black leather jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves with design, dark pants and white shoes. The suspect is believed to be a Caucasian male. Westport News: Stolen Car Arrest

#Westport Connecticut--At Approximately 9:00 a.m. on February 24, 2016, Officers were dispatched to a Silver Brook Road address on a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The complainant advised that the car was taken from his driveway at some point during the  overnight hours. On March 10, 2016 the vehicle was recovered in Waterbury, CT. The car was then towed back to the Westport Police Department so that Detectives could examine it in the hopes of retrieving physical evidence. One of the items found in the car was an Arizona Iced Tea Can which the complainant said was not in the car at the time of the theft. Woodbridge News: 2 Firefighters Injured At Jewish Community Center Fire

UPDATE: Two firefighters reported injured, one unresponsive according to radio reports. 4:11pm--#Woodbridge Connecticut-  A fire is reported in a locker at the Jewish Comunity Center at 360 Amity Road.  The locker is in the middle of the building.
