Health District Offers Back to School Immunization Clinic Naugatuck Valley Health District will host a special children's vaccination clinic to help get district students up to date before the new school year begins. The immunization clinic will be held from 9AM-3 PM on Tuesday, August 23 at the district office at 98 Bank Street in Seymour. Appointments are required. A parent or guardian must accompany the student. Depending on a child's age and grade level, different vaccinations are required to enter school. Waterbury News: Now An Untimely Death Investigation of Naugatuck Man

Waterbury, CT. (July 20, 2016): State Police Detectives from Western District Major Crime (WDMC) are investigating an untimely death in the Route 8 exit 29 commuter lot in Waterbury. On July 20, 2016 at approximately 9:15 a.m., troopers from Troop A-Southbury responded to the Route 8 exit 29 commuter lot for the report of an unconscious male in a motor vehicle. Upon arrival troopers located the unconscious male alone in the vehicle. EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased. State Police Detectives from Western District Major Crime responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
