2023-09-17 #Westport CT-- Thieves Target Victim Carjacking Him Westport, CT-- On Sunday, September 17, 2023, at approximately 3:50 PM Westport Police responded to a residential burglary and carjacking on Bayberry Lane. The complainant reported that as they returned home and pulled into their garage, two (2) suspects entered the garage. The suspects assaulted the complainant while they were seated in the vehicle and subsequently stole their blue Aston Martin after forcibly removing the victim. It is believed that the suspects arrived at the residence in a dark blue BMW, as this vehicle was seen fleeing with the stolen vehicle. Westport News: Woman Dies In I-95 Crash State Police said a woman lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 95. The woman who passed has been identified as 44-year-old Julia Delva Clarke from Fairfield. The collision happened on the northbound lanes of I-95, just south of exit 18, around 12:30 a.m. The vehicles involved in the crash were a tractor-trailer and a Porsche Macan. According to reports from troopers, the tractor-trailer had come to a stop in the right lane due to heavy traffic conditions. Julia Delva Clarke, who was driving the Porsche, rear-ended the stationary tractor-trailer. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries.…

The complainant provided thebasic information of the incident, and the case was turned over the Detective Bureau. ThroughLaw Enforcement sharing Westport Detectives were advised that Wilton Police had arrested Mr.Licona in September 2022 for similar financial crimes.
