Bridgeport Firefighters have extinguished a kitchen fire in the 1000 block of Broad Street on the 4th floor. Firefighters also had to contend with hoarding conditions while battling the fire and while searching for any occupants in the apartment. 2025-11-04@4:00pm-- #Bridgeport CT #ctfire
ANSONIA — On October 29, 2025, police arrested Joseph Yeager, 21, of Meriden, by warrant for his role in the April 26, 2025 street takeover. Investigators say Yeager is believed to be the person seen on video jumping onto the hood of a police cruiser during the incident; he is the fifth arrest in the case, and detectives continue working to identify additional participants. Yeager was charged with Riot 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Riot 1st Degree, Breach of Peace 2nd Degree, and Racing. He was held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on November 25, 2025. On October 29, 2025 Isac Saravia, age 26, of Ansonia was arrested as part of the investigation into the September 24, 2025 fatal motor vehicle accident on Pershing Drive involving Adonis Lapuppet-Bligen. Saravia was charged with Reckless Endangerment First Degree and Reckless Driving. He posted a $75,000.00 bond and will appear at Derby Superior Court for arraignment on November 12, 2025. During the course of the investigation detectives learned that Saravia was driving his own car following closely behind the car driven by Lapuppet-Bligen right before the accident where Lapuppet-Bligen died. With the assistance of the Fairfield Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit it was determined that Saravia and Lapuppet-Bligen were travelling approximately 80 MPH just prior to the accident. STRATFORD — The Stratford Police Detective Division is seeking Don Zemo, last known to reside in Milford, in connection with an active felony arrest warrant for Larceny in the First Degree and Issuing Bad Checks. Investigators say Zemo, a convicted felon, is accused of defrauding a Stratford-based small business of more than $14,000 and is also wanted for similar crimes in other Connecticut communities. Police report that the Fairfield, Brookfield, and New Canaan Police Departments each hold outstanding warrants for Zemo. NORWALK — On October 30, 2025, the Norwalk Police Special Services Division executed a search and seizure warrant at Kings Tobacco & Vape, 2 Main Street, as part of an investigation into smoke shops suspected of selling cannabis without a state license. Investigators recovered 10.75 pounds of illegal marijuana and cannabis items—including 5.35 lbs flower, 2.61 lbs edibles, and 2.79 lbs THC vape products—from throughout the store, including a locked safe, along with $4,632 in cash; they also seized four nitrous oxide canisters, noting FDA warnings that inhalation misuse can cause serious injury or death.
