2019-12-23@9:59pm--A Sanford Place resident ordered a pizza.  When the delivery was made the customer said the deliveryperson took their Yorkie.  When they called the pizza company they told the customer to call the police.  I want to see how they handle that pizza promise. Bridgeport News: Mom Leaves Child On City Bus

2019-12-23@5:57pm--#Bridgeport CT--#Trumbull CT-- A mom apparently forgot her child who appeared to be sleeping while traveling on a city bus.  The mom realized it while she was at the Trumbull Mall on Main Street.  Bridgeport Police stood by with the child on the bus parked at Park Avenue and Dixon Street.  A Trumbull Police Officer brought the mom to Dixon Street to be reunited with her child.  You can see the officer and child below the #4 in the picture.

Bridgeport News: Car Hit Parked Pickup-Sending It Into Building

2019-12-23@3:02pm--#Bridgeport CT—Police are investigating a crash near the intersection of Bruce and Connecticut Avenue. Witnesses said the went airborne hitting a tree and a parked pickup truck sending the pickup into Dennis Auto Parts causing damage to the foundation. Firefighters shored up the building and the building inspector was called to the scene. Witnesses said the driver of the car survived the crash but that he didn’t look too good. Police are investigating, speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Bridgeport News: Abandoned Building Demolished

Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport Office of Planning and Economic Development began demolition of abandoned buildings in Downtown North; located near the Middle and Golden Hill Street intersection. The buildings have suffered partial collapse and, after being identified as a safety concern, the City has begun the $1.1 million-dollar demolition project to make way for a new public green space dubbed “Post Office Square.” “This project will finally make way to provide a beautiful public green space that compliments storefronts, historic building facades, and Downtown apartment style living” stated Mayor Ganim. #HARTFORD, CT – Governor Ned Lamont is applauding both chambers of the Connecticut General Assembly for voting to approve an historic agreement his administration reached with the state’s hospitals that will result in the withdrawal of all pending legal claims that various hospitals filed against the state.
