4:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- #cttraffic-- A report of an accident involving a motorcycle on Route 8/25 north near exit 2. This news report is made possible by:
#Stratford CT--On 06/29/2018, The Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit conducted a MV Stop on a Silver KIA Forte in the Honeyspot Motor Lodge. While interviewing the driver, Matthew Prosnick, Detectives observed Narcotics in the vehicle. During a subsequent Search of the vehicle, Detectives discovered a 9mm Taurus containing several rounds of ammunition in the center console along with a ski mask. The Firearm was reported Stolen out of Bridgeport in Oct. 2017. Also discovered during the search of the vehicle were several bundles of Heroin stamped “DOA” as well as loose Heroin, Crack Cocaine and Narcotics Packaging and gloves. Detectives also discovered that (2) passengers had Outstanding Warrants for Failure to appear in Court. The following individuals were arrested…

Grant to Help Bridgeport Residents Transition from Incarceration into Employment
Bridgeport, Connecticut, July 5, 2018 – The U.S. Department of Labor announced an $82.5 million investment to help Americans exit incarceration and integrate into the workforce. Helping individuals successfully transition from incarceration into family-sustaining jobs will reduce crime and recidivism, lift families out of poverty, and promote America's economic growth. The WorkPlace is one of 41 awardees selected from across the country to implement comprehensive reentry programing to help Bridgeport residents increase their chances of achieving gainful employment. The program called the Reentry American Job Center will provide will provide assessments, intensive case management, support to complete a GED, credential-bearing training and job readiness training. Bridgeport News: Man Bleeding From The Head
9:38pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man was found bleeding from the head and hardly moving on Railroad Avenue near Norman Street. He was transported to the hospital, his condition is not know, police are investigating.
Stratford News: Crash Causes Car To Hit House
7:28pm--#Stratford CT-- A two-car crash on Henry Avenue caused one car to go up an embankment and hit a house. There were no reported injuries.
