#Fairfield CT-- Yesterday, the Fairfield Regional Fire School at 205 Richard White Way conducted an open house for first responders in the Fairfield/New Haven County area. Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson said it was to help the first responders to become more proficient at their job. There was a mix of outdoor training props classroom training provided. There were private company vendors on hand to show first responders what is available to help them and it is a great way for the first responder to learn of new items being released to the market to make their job safer.
#Bridgeport CT--Today, David Shavers of Norwalk was arrested and charged with the murder of Cadell Moore that occurred on Sixth Street. The investigation revealed that Shavers had an ongoing feud with members of a local street gang that started over a drug dispute. On the morning of August 24, 2017, Shavers drove to the area and opened fire on a group sitting on the porch of the house at 54 Sixth Street. The victim was working on his car in front of that house and was shot in the head and killed. #Bridgeport A person was robbed outside of Ruby's II located on Fairfield Avenue during broad daylight. The victim was robbed at gunpoint by two males who fled on Ellsworth Street. I will do an in-depth investigation for you and let you know my findings.
1:19pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Construction workers working in front of 165 Princeton Street hit a gas line. Gas company was quick to the scene and is making repairs.
UPDATE: Police spokesperson Av Harris said the victim was shot ten times and is still alive. 8:44pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A person was shot while on a front porch in the 200 block of Dover Street. The victim's condition is not known at this time. This news report is made possible by:
7:31pm--#Fairfield CT-- A Warde Street resident called police that they left their apartment for a couple of hours and found the light switch in their closet is missing. Police are trying to shed some light on the case.... This news report has to be made possible by:
#Westport CT--In December of 2016, Westport Officers were dispatched to a Newtown Turnpike address on a report of stolen bank checks. The victim noticed that multiple checks were stolen from his checkbook and cashed. The victim reported that the checks were all made out to "Cash" and had his fraudulent signature on them. The total loss was $1,900.00. The victim stated there is a handyman named Ralph that has access to the interior of the house. Detectives learned that the checks were deposited at a Bank of America, into an account they were able to connect to a Ralph Esposito. 9:49pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a stabbing in the 180 block of Wheeler Street. From radio reports, it sounds like a domestic fight and a pretty serious stabbing. Police also had to contend with crowd control and had to call for additional backup.
