Fairfield News: Hit And Run Turns Into Medical Call

On 04/30/2017 Fairfield Police responded to a hit and run collision that occurred at the intersection of School Rd. and Round Hill Rd. where a juvenile was operating a vehicle and fled the scene after a minor collision with another vehicle. After a phone conversation with the juvenile’s parent, officers went to an address on Gay Bowers Rd. in Fairfield to check on the welfare of the juvenile. While they were on the scene, the Fairfield Dispatch Center reported that there was a juvenile who was “Having chest pains or a heart attack” in the rear yard of the residence. Norwalk News: Murder Suicide In Norwalk

On May 1, 2017, at 12:32 a.m., Patrol Officers were dispatched to 66 Wilton Avenue. The complainants had gone to this address to check on a co-worker, who had not shown up for work. The complainants reported that they observed their co-worker lying on the floor through a window. The complainants kicked in the door and found the co-worker deceased. They also observed a male sitting in the apartment holding a firearm. The complainants fled the scene and called police. Arriving officers attempted to speak with the male but he refused. Fairfield News: Snap Chat Joke Deemed School Threat

#Fairfield CT--On 05/01/2017 at 06:13am, the Fairfield Police were alerted by an anonymous complaint that a juvenile student posted a potential threat on the social media application “Snap-Chat”. The anonymous complaint indicated that a student posted a digital picture of an assault-type rifle with overwritten text “Don’t come to school tomorrow.” The investigation revealed that there were two juveniles involved, of which both were located at their respective homes in Fairfield as they were leaving for school. It was also determined that the message was posted as a private joke.
