UPDATE: Firefighters just said it was a large steam release from a ruptured steam pipe at electrical plant on Atlantic Street. 7:30pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are receiving a number of calls for a loud noise, sounding like an aircraft they cannot see in the Park Avenue /State Street area. Firefighters say it sounds like a massive water leak. An officer says it might be the Resco Plant venting. I hear it in Fairfield and that is the sound I head last year when Resco vented.

12:31pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT--A two car crash with rollover on I-95 northbound before exit 26. According to numerous radio reports then say one of the drivers now out of the car crosses over the southbound side and was struck by another car. 9:12pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A "man" at 571 Arctic Street on the 2nd floor allegedly stabs his girlfriend. There were little kids in the home according to radio reports. When police arrived the "man" had already fled. He returned shortly after midnight and police apprehended him. This report is made possible by:

8:20pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters on scene at the rest stop on I-95 Fairfield, northbound I believe, but not positives because DOT turned off the cameras, but leave them on for a rollover. Go figure. Any who there was an alarm, a report of leakage of a liquid under one of the doors and a smell of natural gas. Firefighters reporting it is coming from the state police office. Hang on to this number, many of you will need this in the morning!
