Bridgeport News: A Resuscitates Person Thought To Be Dead

4:44pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Bridgeport Police detectives dispatched to a home where the person was thought to be dead.  EMS from American Medical Response (AMR) resuscitates the victim.  WAY TO GO!

Bridgeport News: Suspicious Fire Investigated

4:38am–#Bridgeport Connecticut–The fire marshal along with a accelerate sniffing K-9 are investigating this suspicious fire at 447 Grand Street early this morning.  13 people were woken from their sleep by persistent  barking dog.   The Red Cross is helping the families who are now homeless.

 

How To Festival

The Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, will be hosting a How-To Festival on Saturday, October 22, from 10 am until 2 pm. There will be over twenty booths and each one is 100% free!

Have you ever wanted to try yoga? Have you heard about the new fitness craze “Pound”? Are you curious about the process of adopting a shelter pet? Would you like to design your own fairy? How about learning self-defense moves or learning to knit? The list goes on. Join us for the How-To Festival and learn all of these things and more. All of these fun, introductory classes are only 15-30 minutes long. Sessions will be located throughout the library, inside and out (weather permitting). There will be something for everyone, so bring your family and your friends.

Westport News: Assault on Emergency Personnel

#Westport Connecticut–On September 6 th , 2016, Westport Officers were dispatched to a St. Vincent’s Behavior Medical Health Center on Long Lots Road on a report of an assault. Tanya Lewis had an argument with the victim of this incident who is employed by the hospital. Tanya Lewis is not employed by the hospital. Lewis scratched the victim in the face and forearms. A warrant was completed for the arrest of Lewis. On 10/04/16, Lewis turned herself in for the above charges. She was held on a $20,000.00 bond and taken to court that same day.
