4:11pm--#Norwalk Connecticut-- The Chase Bank at 50 Washington Street was robbed. No weapon was shown but one was implied. UPDATE: Arson Arrest--On 07-07-2016 Michael Sherwood age 51 of Stratford was arrested for Arson and assorted other charges following two (2) suspicious fires at 30 Sherwood Avenue. During the investigation it was determined that Sherwood had started the fires at the residence because the previous residents were required to move out when the new property owners took possession. During the interview and booking process Sherwood threatened officers. Sherwood is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 07-18- 2016. #Bridgeport Connecticut-- Protesters from across the city descended on the city council meeting Tuesday in opposition of the recent 29 percent mill rate increase in taxes. Many reporters and officials I spoke to said they have never seen such a large gathering at a city council meeting. The audience was upset that only six people were allowed to speak, Ernie Newton used his time not to talk about taxes but to rehash his plea on a bid he placed and was denied because he did not "check the box" that he was a convicted felon.
