The military shirts are a way of showing our patriotism and honoring our members who are military veterans. The Westport Fire Department has many members who are serving, or have served, in various branches of our Government protecting us both here and throughout the world. Stratford News: Man Accidently Shoots Himself
UPDATE: Police Press Release: Keil Helenese age 32 of Bridgeport was arrested in Stratford on Sunday, July 3 rd for weapons related charges. Helenese was at a picnic on Quail Street when a firearm he was carrying fell out of the holster. Helenese re-holstered the weapon and negligently discharged one round from the weapon. The bullet struck him in the hip. He was treated and released from the hospital at which time he was arrested for charges listed below.
