Troopers Seize over 25 Pounds of Heroin Following Traffic Stop
#Trumbull, CT. (May 17, 2016): State Troopers from Troop G-Bridgeport, Trumbull Police Department and a Trumbull Police K9 team located over 25 pounds of heroin following traffic stop. On May 17, 2016 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Troopers from Troop G were on patrol conducting motor vehicle enforcement when they observed a Toyota Camry commit a moving violation. Troopers stopped the Toyota on Route 15 Northbound in Stratford. While troopers were speaking with the operator, they were alerted to possible narcotics in the vehicle and initiated an investigation. A Trumbull Police Department K9 team responded to the traffic stop and assisted with the investigation.
