#Shelton CT-- (November 3, 2015): Troopers from Troop I-Bethany are currently investigating the larceny of a debit card and cash from a motor vehicle parked in the exit 13 commuter lot adjacent to Route 8 On November 2, 2015 at approx. 2:45pm Troopers from Troop I-Bethany were called to the commuter lot to investigate a larceny from a CT Department of Transportation vehicle. The complainant stated that when he returned to the vehicle, he noticed that his wallet was removed from his lunch cooler. Troopers later found the wallet discarded on the ground in the commuter lot, missing from the wallet was a Wells Fargo Visa Debit card along with $10 U.S. Currency. When I was at the state police press conference last week, two reporters wanted to know who I thought was going to be the next mayor in Bridgeport. I told them I really don't know. The reason is that there is seven candidates running. Governor Malloy asked the Secretary of the State to dispatch staff to monitor the vote for any problems or potential fraud. (November 2, 2015 Press Release) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect, Carl Brooks (DOB: 06/13/94), for possession and use of paintball and airsoft guns. On Saturday, October 31 at around 5:45 p.m., police officers responded to a call about shots fired at Marina Village Building #22. Upon arrival, a police officer observed a few young males sitting on the front steps of building #22. As the police officer approached the young males, the officer heard muffled sound of shots, possibly, projectiles being fired from a pellet gun, paint ball gun, or airsoft rifle.
