#Fairfield CT-- Early this afternoon a person called 911 for an unconscious person in the Lawncroft Burial Park on Black Rock Turnpike. Police confirmed they are investigating an untimely death and had the area blocked off until the medical examiner took the body. The body was on a stone wall towards the Candlewood Road area of the cemetery. No identity or cause of death has been released at this time.
2:41pm--#Fairfield CT--The road in front of Stop and Shop at the traffic circle at 1160 Kings Hwy Cutoff is closed to traffic for traffic signal lights that just fell into the roadway. Police say nothing hit them and it appears to be scorch or fray marks on the guy line that secures it to the pole. UI arrived on scene at 2:55pm, expect delays in the area.
Bridgeport, Conn. (September 14, 2015) -- Today, Bridgeport Police Chief Joseph Gaudett Jr. announced the beginning of K-9 training for two Bridgeport police officers. Police Officers Marie Cetti and John Pachera began their first day of training at the Connecticut State Police Canine Unit in Meriden, Conn. Each officer is paired with a dog, trained as a team, and then will enter the field together. The fire marshal was called to investigate at car/garage/house fire to find out where the fire started and the cause. The bulk of the fire was put out prior to my six minute travel time to the scene.

Bridgeport Police UPDATE: – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying suspects following an incident that involved a burglary and robbery. On September 14, 2015 at around 1:15 p.m., police officers responded to a 911 call regarding an alleged burglary and robbery near the corner of Ezra St. and Fairview Ave. When police officers arrived on scene, a male victim alleged that he was robbed at gunpoint by three suspects. In addition, the suspects stole cash and methadone from his home. And, one of the suspects allegedly pistol whipped the male victim.
