(September 1, 2015) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced that two suspects have been arrested and charged in relation to an incident at Trumbull Gardens, which took place this summer and resulted in nine shooting victims -- one homicide and eight injured. “For months, police officers and others have worked tirelessly to solve this heinous crime. Bridgeport News: Two Arrested In Trumbull Gardens Shoot Up
#Bridgeport CT-- Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced that two suspects have been arrested and charged in relation to an incident at Trumbull Gardens, which took place this summer and resulted in nine shooting victims -- one homicide and eight injured. Arrested was Jamal Hamilton and Kevan Bennett, the suspects are being held on a $1,000,000 bond. I'll have a video report after the press conference scheduled at 12:30pm today.

Stabbing In Bridgeport
UPDATE: I'm happy to report a doctor at the hospital was able to revive the victim and he is recovering from his wound 10:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a homicide in the 1400 block of Fairfield Avenue. There is a blood trail from Poplar Street to the where the victim collapsed in front of the laundromat. He was stabbed in the chest according to witnesses. Fairfield Avenue is blocked from Howard to Poplar Street.
