12:25pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters extinguished a fire at 229 Plymouth Street. The fire started in the basement and extended to other part of the house. Firefighters required three hoses to get the fire under control. The occupants had evacuated the building prior to firefighter's arrival. 1:42pm--#Bridgeport CT--One person was shot OUTSIDE Big Daddy's Deli on 2498 East Main Street. The area is closed to traffic while police investigate. The person shot was transported to Bridgeport Hospital, code two which means it is NOT life threatening. I don't know what part of the body the person was shot at this time. Police are looking for a gray Nissan Murano with heavy tinted windows, it fled north on Noble Avenue. Treizy Lopez, 18, was arrested in West Haven by the US Marshall Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force and West Haven Police. He is charged with murder for the fatal shooting of store owner Jose Salgado on April 11.
UPDATE: Police are looking for a black BMW 5 Series with CT plates 849WZW and a Gray Volkswagen Jetta with CT Plates 263ZBM in connection to the break in.
