Karim Skipworth, of 121 Hicks St., surrendered at Police Headquarters today on a warrant charging him with murder, carrying a pistol without a permit and criminal possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $1 million. “Detectives investigating this case worked day and night since the incident,” said Police Chief Joseph L. Gaudett Jr. “We owed that to the family and to our city. Detectives pursued every lead and followed the evidence where it took them. That led us to the suspect. “The investigators did outstanding work.” The homicide squad led by Lt.
