5:25pm--UPDATE: Police have pulled the vehicle over at Fairfield Beach Road and Rowland Road. 5:20pm--According to radio reports a person driving a white Chevy Impala attempted to run down an Animal Control Officer at the Animal Control Office at One Rod Highway. The woman became abusive when the officer asked for identification and attempted to run him down. Police are just arriving on scene so the information on this report might change. File 14-44646--Arrested: Edwin Ortiz 10/29/92 for Larceny 4th 53a-125. Brigeport Police stopped the vehicle after Fairfield Police broadcasted the theft The skis taken from the Vehicle in the Southport Brewing Company lot were recovered inside the vehicle. Only one suspect was located in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and impounded at the Fairfield Police Department. 12:02am--UPDATE: ARREST MADE: The info I was holding back on was the description of the suspects car and the plate number.
